Windmill palm is a cold hardy palm that grows in USDA zone 6 to 11. Windmill palm has a thick hairy trunk that protect the tree from cold damage, that’s why it is suitable for cold winter landscapes. Windmill palms create evergreen look all year. It shows resistance to ice and snow and survives tempertures below zero.

A King palm is a very handsome tropical plant. Gracefull in appearance it has glaucous, feather-like fronds and a smooth, ringed with noticible leaf scars trunk. The palms ia native to Australia where it is extremely popular. A King palm is a wonderful ornamental for a tropical garden.
